Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and a writer. She is most well known for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. In 1956, she had her breakthrough with a performance on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. The same year, She made her debut album of songs, called It's time for Tina. Louise was first seen on the screen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre which was a dramatic that was released in the year 1958. She was Griselda the main character of the film. During this time she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career balancing Broadway television with Hollywood and portraying an empathetic rather than the glamorous image that she had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she also has made an impact as a director who has been successful in several well-known television series including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family relocated out of Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for her childhood and teenage years. After being chosen for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She was there ever for the last ten years.
