Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik in Iceland. She's the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also instructs and trains. Annie is the only woman ever to win two CrossFit Games. She placed second in the both the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir - an Icelandic weightlifter and CrossFit athlete and a media celebrity - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She is popular for being the first woman who won in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. She is also known for winning in the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was raised through her mother and father in Reykjavik Iceland. Being a sports and fitness enthusiast since a young age she participated in various school games and was awarded numerous medals. The first time she participated was time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games in California and did very well. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 by 2021. She's 5'7 tall and weighs in the neighborhood of 67 kg. Annie started her CrossFit journey in 2009, in California. Annie did very well in the initial competitions and was in the top 10 out of 70. The team was unable to earn any titles, and ended up 11th on the list of final results. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Coach Jami Tikannen guided her to a second place finish in CrossFit Games, and a medal that was silver at the time of the year. Because of her exceptional performance, she was able to take home the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie's outstanding performance in 2012 led her to another CrossFit Games victory. This was her second consecutive time she had won consecutively. Besides this in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal and recently in 2021 won a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has appeared as the spokesperson for numerous brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization as well as Sidekick Yerbae. Some 2,000 people have subscribed to her self-titled Youtube Channel where training videos along with travel vlogs, family and training videos are posted.
